Cost
✅ Families living within 20km of Byford – all services are fully covered by Medicare. ✅ For those beyond 20km, a once-off $70 fee applies for the initial home visit only. Please note: Medicare covers postnatal care for the first 6 weeks and 6 days after birth. After this period, home visits are available at a fee of $200 per visit.
Includes unlimited telephone and telehealth contact during this period. 💬 After 6 weeks and 6 days: Telehealth/phone consultations under 40 minutes: $60 Over 40 minutes: $100
✅ All subsequent home visits are fully covered by Medicare for the first 6 weeks 6 days.
